Current Feminist Perspectives on relationships, economy and solidarity.

Sarah Speck - Goethe-University Frankfurt

The pandemic has once again shown us the necessity of a broad understanding of economy, aiming at the reproduction of societies and integrating an understanding of relational practices as well as illuminating manyfold waged and unwaged forms of labour. At the same time, it has risen the question of solidarity very directly. Drawing on empirical findings as well as on specific transnational debates, the paper proposes a feminist perspective on recent developments in the context of the Covid-19-Pandemic as well as on urgent political questions and unfolding practices of solidarity in different urban contexts.
